Why GreenTech?
The goal for the dual-purpose stadium in Ponce, Puerto Rico, was to accommodate the region's popular baseball team as well as track and field events without increasing the overall footprint of the stadium.
The ITM™ Solution.
Like so many engineers and contractors who become familiar with the ITM™ system, the stadium contractors saw an innovative solution in the transportable plastic-molded modules. Not only have they installed a modular turf system, they've created a modular running track as well. By attaching the track surface material to additional cement-filled ITM modules, they have created an efficient, economical way to maximize their space. The baseball field can be transformed into a track and field arena quickly.
